Information you give us through our contact form When you fill in our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the details of your enquiry, including any information about the project or service you are interested in.
Information you give us through our careers form When you apply to work with us through our careers page, we collect your name, phone number, email address, the trade skills you hold, your years of experience, your preference for employed or subcontract work, any CV or certificates you choose to upload, and any message you include.
Information we collect automatically when you visit our website When you use our website, we automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, approximate geographic location, the pages you visit, and how you arrived at and move through our site. We collect this through cookies and similar technologies (see the Cookies section below).
We do not deliberately collect special category data (such as information about your health, race, religion, sexual orientation or political opinions). If a CV or message you send us happens to contain such information, we ask that you only include what is relevant to your application, and we will treat anything you do provide with appropriate care.

To respond to your enquiries — legitimate interests When you contact us through the website, by phone or by email, we use your details to reply to you and to deal with your enquiry. We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to people who get in touch with us, and we keep a record of our correspondence so we can provide a consistent service.
To carry out our contract with you — performance of a contract If you go on to engage us for building, renovation or extension work, we use your information to provide that service, to communicate with you about it, and to meet our obligations to you.
To consider you for work with us — legitimate interests and consent When you apply through our careers form, we use your information to assess your suitability for current or future opportunities and to contact you about them. We operate an always-open talent pool, which means we may keep your application on file so we can contact you when suitable work arises. We rely on our legitimate interest in finding suitable people for our team, and on your consent for keeping your details on file for future opportunities. You can ask us to remove your details at any time (see Your rights, below).
To understand and improve our website — consent We use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our website so we can improve it. We only set these cookies where you have given consent through our cookie banner. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
To meet our legal obligations — legal obligation In some cases we must process your information to comply with the law, for example to respond to a lawful request from a public authority, or to keep records we are legally required to keep.

Sending information outside the UK

- Enquiries: we keep correspondence for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you contact us again.
- Customers: where we carry out work for you, we keep records for as long as required to meet our contractual, accounting and legal obligations.
- Job applications: we keep applications submitted through our careers form for up to 12 months so we can consider you for future opportunities, unless you ask us to remove them sooner.
When we no longer need your information, we securely delete or anonymise it.
How we protect your information
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep your information secure. Our website uses an SSL certificate, which encrypts the information you send to us — you can confirm this by the padlock symbol in your browser’s address bar.
Your rights
Under data protection law, you have the right to:
